"A cozy and elegant design inside a very limited space is a challenge for the better good."
- Limesa Design
When we received the task, we were astonished by how cramped and small the room was. While the total is of the apartment was tolerable, thick concrete beams emerged down from the ceiling pressures the dwellers by their existence.
The design started by manipulating those building "skeletons" into an aesthetic element that will improve the room's atmosphere. Also, despite limited by such a constraint, we divided the room into three areas: kitchen, working space, and bedroom. We maximized the functionality of the furniture inside the limited space by installing an expandable table under the main desk. Materials were selected in order to achieve an elegant and homey ambiance for the room atmosphere.
