Universitas Indonesia required more spaces to facilitate group study and student interactions within its campuses. As a university that is packed with young souls, the design was created to be playful and exciting. The variation of bright colors to ignite conversation and improve the concentration of students is what we implemented in the design.

 

We made a total of three separate spaces for this function whereas one of the room is considered to be the main lounge. In the first student corner, we decided that this space should be more relaxed to relieve their stress between classes. On the other hand, the second student corner was designed to be more serious, which is dedicated to students who are preparing for classes and assignments. Lastly, inside the main lounge, we prepared a space for students to do a wide variety of activities, starting from taking breaks together to self-study activities.
